The department has an organizational staff of 17 full-time and part-time faculty and office staff headed by the Dean as the top functioning official and is operating under the direct supervision of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Vice President for Administration. It is a service department for all the general education subjects, servicing the different programs of the institution. Two year after, two added majors were put up, Mathematics and English. In the school year 2003-2004, Physical Education became another major.
For the AY 2005-2006, the College of Education is intending to put a course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Elementary Education. Systems Plus College Foundation believed that a complete circle of teacher education is necessary to provide the education sector with the complete line-up of teachers to teach in the elementary and secondary levels.
