BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ACCOUNTANCY

Accountancy is a profession that plays an important role in all societies. As the world moves toward global market economies, and with investments and operations crossing borders to an ever greater extent, professional accountants need a broad global outlook to understand the context in which businesses and other organizations operate.

Objective

The primary goal of accounting education is to produce competent professional accountants capable of making a positive contribution over their lifetimes to the profession and society in which they work. In the face of increasing changes that they will meet later as professional accountants, it is essential that students develop and maintain an attitude of learning to learn, to maintain their competence later as professional accountants.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ACCOUNTING TECHNOLOGY

The ladderized degree program described herein shall be called Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology (BSAcT). After completion of the second year, Certificate of Accounting Technology may be given by the Higher Education Institution equivalent to National Competency II (NC II) of the Technical Educational Skills and Development Authority (TESDA).

Objective

The primary goal of the program is to equip students with specific skills for entry into the BPO industry and accounting profession and prepare the students for eventual entry into the regular degree program of the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA).

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION MAJOR IN MARKETING MANAGEMENT

The Marketing Management program prepares the students to be responsive to the total environment by providing technical skills and competencies in the areas of marketing. Theory is blended with practicum activities to give the students a broad and enriched base for career in marketing.

The objectives of the program are:
  1. Help the students to seek employment and entry level jobs or positions of responsibility as marketing manager, marketing executive or marketing director.
  2. Guide the students in organizing or managing entrepreneurial activities if they decide to be self-employed.
  3. Equip students with knowledge of the principles and concepts of marketing.
  4. Prepare students to pursue a teaching career or graduate studies in business.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN OFFICE ADMINISTRATION

The Office Administration program aims to prepare the students for a career in office administration specifically in various general and specialized administrative support, supervisory, and managerial positions. It also aims to equip students with the competencies, skills, knowledge, and work values necessary for self-employment.
