COLLEGE OF BUSINESS

Systems Plus College Foundation, Inc, was organized in Balibago, Angeles City on June 27 1985. Its main aim was to lead seminars for those who were planning to get into the electronic data processing field as programmers, encoders or systems analysts. In June 1994, along with the new name, the school offered Bachelor of Science in Business Administration thus gave birth to the COLLEGE OF BUSINESS.

The Year 2003 was very important for the College of Business. That year brought out the very first graduates of the BS. Accountancy program. This pilot batch scored a passing rate of 33% with the PRC on the first try. Time and time again, SPCF has maintained a competitive edge over other educational institutions in Region 3.

From 1994 to present, the College of Business continuously produces highly employable Management Graduates and CPA board passers. Among the few noteworthy achievements of the College is during the past two years of CPA Board Examination the College garners above national passing percentage. Also, last January 2015 the College surpass with rigid accreditation of PACUCOA where in 2 courses that the College offers has been accredited by this prestigious accrediting body. LEVEL 2 FORMAL ACCREDITATION for the courses, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. CHED recognition for Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration granted on January 2016 and Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Management is in the process for acquiring CHED recognition. BS Accounting Technology is also vying for Level 1 Accreditation Visit this March 2016.

Cognizance with the course learning outcomes of Principles of Marketing; i.e., to integrate the practical and managerial approach in marketing, Marketing Bazaar provide an avenue for the participating students to explore the business world through practical applications and simulations.
Union of Customs Administrations Students (UCAS)
Union of Customs Administrations Students (UCAS) sponsored a Seminar on CMTA (Customs Modernization and Tariff Act) last February 17, 2017.
Real Estate Students Organization (RESA)
Real Estate Students Organization (RESA) held a Real Estate Management Practice Seminar last February 24, 2017.

The College of Business offers business studies program designed to provide students at the undergraduate levels the skills necessary to achieve successful careers in various field of business management in the local and global environment. This mission is accomplished through a unique combination of experiential learning, applied research and community outreach undertaken by highly competent and dedicated faculty, staff and administrators, working together with our alumni, business, education, government and community leaders.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES
  1. Describe the basic function of management such as planning, organizing, leading, and controlling
  2. Identify and describe the basic concepts that underlie each of the functional areas of business (marketing, finance, human resources management, production, and operations management, information technology, and strategic management) and employ these concepts in various business situations
  3. Select the proper decision making tools to critically, analytically and creatively solve problems and drive results
  4. Express clearly and communicate effectively with stakeholders both in oral and written forms
  5. Apply information and communication technology (ICT) skills as required by the business environment
  6. Work effectively with other stakeholders and manage conflict in the workplace
  7. Organize and lead groups to plan and implement business related activities
  8. Demonstrate corporate citizenship and social responsibility
  9. Exercise high personal moral and ethical standards
